Apart from my job, i enjoyed surfing forum, which i found that many most of the time fresh grad asking that what is the (mechanical & electrical) m&e is all about in construction industries, usually people says civil and structural is like human backbone and your complexion while m&e is internal organs of human.
M&E breakdown into 2 major parts which is Mechanical (M) and Electrical (E) :
Mechanical
- Fire Protection System
- Air-Conditioning and Ventilation
- Sanitary System
- Cold Water Hot Water System
- Irrigation System
- Natural Gas Services
- Vertical Transportation System (Lift)
Electrical
- Electrical HV
- Electrical Small Power
- Electrical Lighting
- PA system
- SMATV
- Earthing & Lightning
- Structured Cabling System
- Audio & Visual System
- Building Security System
and usually both mechanical and electrical system have close correlation between each other as one cant work without the others.
I'm actually an engineering student and i was assigned to find any M&E consultant to obtain data regarding one of their project. . It will be sufficient enough if i know the basic details of Fire Protection System of any of your company project ie.what type of the machines that are used,their application and related diagram, specification and maintenance .

hey guy, i'm studying electrical engineering now. wat do u think about electrical jobs and electronics jobs such as factory in future?
